We've been busy!

I can hardly believe it's been a week already! let me bring ya'll up to speed:
Mike's in CA and has actually headed into his training phase and we won't hear from him for a couple of weeks. He phoned a couple of times and was doing fine. he had a lot of classes and training to go through this past week.
Ivie has had a major set back with her potty training, due to me being sick. She spent a few days mostly in pull-ups, and that's what she wants to wear. I have a hard time forcing her to wear her big girl panties, because I don't want this to be a traumatic time for her. So, I feel like I have to start all over with her. She seems to be adjusting well to Mike being gone (although I guess her training set backs could have something to do with him being gone) and tells me every day that "Daddy's at work. He's in Calforma".
Elly's feeling better too. She had a spring time virus and ended up getting a rash, in addition to her just feeling punky. She went for her 9 month Well Baby appointment this past week and is in the 75th percentile and seems to be doing well. She continues to pull herself up and just loves to explore and get into anything she can reach.
Our contractor has been here working on our fireplace. We've had the fireplace person (I don't know what his title is) in too to finish bringing it up to code. I'm waiting on our final inspection with regional and then we'll be set with that. I painted the space, although I need to re-do part of it because the color just didn't turn out how I expected it. I'm hoping that Home Depot will just darken the paint I already purchased. We'll see. I am going to tile the front of the fireplace, with help from my realtor (have I ever mentioned how AWESOME she is?) and then our carpenter will come in and trim out the fireplace, adding shelving to the front and a desk/shelves to the side. I added pictures to our website on Flickr.com, so just follow the link to check it out.
I also spent some time outside pruning and weeding and mowing. It's been a bit hard for me to remind myself that I have to take one project, chore and day at a time. Being a temp, single mom, I cannot do all the housework, yard work and still take good care of the girls all in one day. What would usually take me and Mike a day or two to do together, takes me a week or so to do myself.
All righty, I should head to bed. I've got a busy week ahead of me, but I'll do my best to check-in with ya'll!
