caution: strong parental content

Okay, so as I have grown, married and had children, I am finding out new things about myself; I prefer comfortable shoes to the latest trend, a new vacuum is an amazing gift, I know all the characters of Dora and enjoy her happy demeanor and going poo and pee in a potty is a HUGE deal. Yes, Ivie went poo and pee in her potty chair, for the first time, tonight!!!!! It was rather exciting to experience and kinda cute to see Ivie's amazement with the whole process. We've been talking about the big girl potty and big girl pantie, but she really hasn't been too interested in actually following through with any of our talks. Well, today she decided she was ready to buy big girl panties (with Dora and Ponies, of course) and well, we're free of diapers and using panties and pull-ups (for nighttime). Wow, I don't really know if I am ready for the discipline of this process. But, I guess I can set the kitchen timer for potty breaks and really just be aware of Ivie and her signs. This will definitely take running errands to a whole new level!
