This is one of those weird weather weeks for us; I LOVE those kinda weeks because it usually involves Spring and blizzards within a few days of each other. We had some beautiful weather over the weekend, of course we missed enjoying it due to our time spent in bed. But, yesterday and today have been beautiful too. We took advantage of the great day and went to the park after naps and stayed until the winds with the forcasted cold front chilled us. Tomorrow we're supposed to have a freezing, snowy Valentine's Day.
Mike phoned this morning. Of course, the girls were in rare form first thing this morning (when Mike called) and I had a hard time talking with him, comforting Elly's screams and dealing with a super whiny Ivie having fits because I won't let her eat grape jelly toast on the couch (I know, I'm the meanest mom around). But, I still enjoyed what conversation I did have with him and just hope and pray that he doesn't think everyday is this out of control. It seems he can quickly forget the moodiness of the girls when they are still out of sorts from being sick or out of their routine (I'd like to forget it too somedays). I guess the girls can be as weird in their behaviours as the week and it's weather!
