For those of you that follow this, you might remember me mentioning us buying a van in the future, despite me never thinking I would. Well, it looks like we'll be making that investment a little sooner than anticipated seeing as how our car will not fit 3 baby seats! Yes, we are expecting baby number 3 in late May of 2008. Today, I am 5 weeks pregnant.
For once, we were actually expecting this news. We are very excited to add to our family, although some moments I do feel a tad overwhelmed thinking about taking on this challenge as a temporary single mother. But I know that I won't be alone, that God will provide me with all the strength, patience and help I need.
Needless to say, there's a lot going on here. Aside from our news, Mike has come in from the field and is already focusing on packing for I and we're anxiously awaiting our visit to MI at the end of next month. Elly is walking a lot more, almost regularly. Today, she chased Ivie down a couple times and was so proud of herself in doing so. We have been seeing commercials for Dora's new movie where she is a mermaid and now Ivie pretends she is a mermaid. Everything she wears is mermaid clothing, and come bathtime, well I can't begin to tell you how happy our little mermaid is splashing and swimming around.
Mike has a 4 day weekend, so I'm sure we'll have some fun and we wish the same for you all!
