A labor filled week

I am giving the movie thing a try, again. I won't know until after I post if it will work.
My parents arrived here this past Saturday. The girls warmed up to them rather quickly and haven't left their sides all week! My father has been working like a crazy man around the house. He's put in all new doors, storage in the garage, and is finishing up replacing all the trim. I am so excited about the difference these superficial upgrades have made in our home. Of course, things are still in a state of disarray, but after all the work is done and the house is cleaned, it's just going to be wonderful. Mike and I have been helping when he needs it, but he works more quickly by himself (we tend to get in the way). I was in charge of painting 69 pieces of base moulding and casing.
Mom's been keeping an eye on the girls and is at the zoo with them today. They have both been sick and know I am. I'm enjoying actually being able to get some rest and hope that I'll be feeling better super soon.
Ivie has successfully filled her potty chart and mom is taking her to get her last Pet Shop toy. She is doing so well with using her potty and is getting better at telling us when she has to go. I'm sure we'll continue to have our oops days, but I am so proud of her and how hard she has tried over these past few weeks.
Mike has a very busy month of training ahead of him. He will be out in the filed almost half the month, but things will slow down for him, training wise, after that.
I'll update our photo website after we're all done, so be sure to check back soon!
