hodge podge

Wow, can you believe it's been a week already? Long weekends always throw me off, and we've been busy this week, so time has really flown. I've been wanting to post, but I've been having to share the laptop with Mike (very unusual) and I just haven't wanted to stay up after Mike's been done.
He's been keeping very busy with his responsibilities at work and he's also spent a lot of time at the range. He's been bringing work home with him every night, and I've been helping him get it done. That's been our time together this week. But, we should get it it all squared away this weekend. Next week, he'll be gone Tuesday through Friday with more training in the field.
I've been doing my usual, keeping up with the house and the girls. I've spent some time with S too. She's four days away from closing on her home! We'll be busy next week, along with some of her other friends, painting and starting the move. Today, I renewed my military ID card and am super excited to have a normal looking picture! My other id card photo was horrible. The girl who took it didn't make it big enough, so she stretched it from the side, making me look very distorted. Some of the gate gaurds would do double takes when I would come through the gate.
The girls, well, what haven't they been doing? Ivie's been dressing up, and stripping down, we've had some great springtime weather and outdoor playtime. Elly is now on a four hour schedule, so she and Ivie have the same afternoon naptime! That's exciting!!! We've taken walks and laughed and play a lot. Ivie's been enjoying playdough too. She likes to make eggs with playdough. Why eggs, I don't know, but it sure is cute. This morning, she covered her tummy in stickers (as seen in the picture). The picture is a little blurry because I was laughing too hard when she appeared from behind the chair in stickers!
That's about it for us. We have one more day of our beautiful weather and then a snowstorm. I think we'll take the wagon out for it's maiden voyage tomorrow!
