The end of another weekend.....
Despite me not working outside the home or going to school, I still look forward to and enjoy my weekends. A couple of days of relaxation, enjoying some quiet time and then the girls wake at 0700 and my day flies by.
We had some beautiful weather this weekend. I enjoyed time with my friend S yesterday. She and her husband are buying a beautiful new home and they are into the last couple of weeks of the process. We went to her home and then furniture shopping. Their home is unbelievable. It's in a subdivision that it becoming rather built up, however their lot is at the back of the subdivision and borders a nature trail and small lake! I am so happy for them.
Thursday, Ivie and I had a great conversation in the car. It went something like this: I-"Rock" (while pointing toward the mountain). M-"That's a mountain Ivie. Isn't it pretty?" I-"No! Big Rock. It's heavy." M-"Yes Ivie, that is pretty heavy." Is she a nut or what?!
The pictures here are the girls having some fun. Ivie is listening to one of her VeggieTales CD's. She really enjoys them. Everytime a new voice would come on she'd asked "Who dat?" Elly is spending some great time in her exersaucer. She talks and squeals and smiles when she's in it. I love to sit and watch her and play with her when she's playing in it.
Another weekend is winding down and we're looking forward to what this week has to bring us: hopefully news about a house, some fun times with the girls and a lot of unexpected events too! Have a great one!
