Whirlwinds

I had honestly hoped i would have made time to post before now, I just didn't anticipate things being so crazy.
We had a great time in MI, too short, but fun no less. We left on the 27th and had great flights and wonderful behaviour from the girls (depsite being up at 4:30am. However, when we landed in Grand Rapids, the cargo door on the plane would not come unlatched so all the luggage was stuck on there. We had the stroller (which we checked at the gate), 2 car seats and 2 suitcases all on board. The airline was great, though, and loaned us 2 car seats so we could leave the airport and promised delivery of our luggage between 8:30pm and the wee hours of the morning. How excited we're we to find the luggage fairy had deposited all our stuff on my in-laws doorstep in the night. Sunday morning we drove to Flint to attend Church with my folks. The sermon was great and at the end, Pastor Ray and nearly half the congrgation laid hands on me and Mike and prayed for us and all this upcoming year will bring. Powerful. We spent the rest of the day with my side of the family at my Gramma's house, even my sis flew in for the weekend. Monday we went to Mike's mom's for a few days followed by his father's for the last few days of our trip. I think we managed to see all the family that lives in MI, which I think is amazing given the short amount of time we were there. We had great flights home, as well as more wonderful attitudes from the girls.
The begining of the week was crazy, too, seeing as how Mike's father, sister and one of his brothers drove out on Wednesday (arriving Thursday). So, we had enough time to unpack (almost), clean-up and be ready for family.
I had my first OB appointment on Wednesday, although it was only to fill out paperwork and do my labs. The military has an initial appointment by 12 weeks, followed by one's first appointment with a CNM by 16 weeks. Very differant from civilian doctors (the first half of Ivie's pregnancy I had a civilian DR). It's nice to finally feel like things are moving along with this pregnancy. I'll feel much better after meeting my CNM next week. This is someone differant than Elly's pregnancy, but I was reassured she was very nice. I am anxiously awaiting the chance to talk about whether or not I can have the same doctor deliver this baby as did Elly. I would hope they'd be great about that, but we'll see.
Okay, so have I gone on enough? I could continue with tons more, I'm sure, but I'll give ya'll a break. I've got tons of pictures to sort through, and when I manage to do so, I'll add them to our website!
