The contdown continues....

We are nine days away from owning our home! I wrapped up the last of things today (except packing) and it feels good. Well, I guess I still need to order blinds, but all the utilities have been set up and our paperwork is squared away. The sellers have agreed,to pay for the few repairs we asked, electrical, furnace cleaning and the fireplace, without any hesitation. I feel really lucky that we have had such a great experience with this whole process.
Elly has been really busy this week. She is sccoting around like crazy! Definitely not crawling, but that girla can move. She's also sat herself up and one of her 2 front teeth has finally made an appearance. Her 2 front teeth have been trying to cmoe in for nearly 2 months, and one can finally be felt through her gum. She had a really rough night last night.
Ivie's just as busy as ever. She has started to sing a lot more lately. She sings Twinkle little star (still) and the Wonder Pets theme. It's quite cute. She is becoming a bit sassy, at times, and has really been testing my patience. She also seems to really notice Mike being away so much and is very vocal about it. When he's gone or has a hectic schedule, she hasn't been sleeping very well at night. We've been talking about moving to our new house and she seems to be a little excited. She'll ask about it and has even help me packed; it's rather sweet.
Mike's still just as busy as ever. His schedule os full of training, courses, his armor room stuff and squeezing in family time when he can. I know it's hard on him, and thankfully, he has some long weekedns to look forward to. He deserves it, they all do. There continues to be a lot of talk about what's going to happen with the ID, when they'll go, where, how long, etc. We've been told that we should have some concrete (I use that term loosely) answers soon.
