My friend, S, has taken a part time job and I (and another friend) are watching B&A for her. I have been busy this week with them and I have enjoyed it. Some weeks I feel like I have nothing going on but the house and girls (that really is a lot), so it's nice to have a change of pace.
Yesterday was S's birthday and a few of us went out to a really hip place called Shuga's. It's downtown, well 4 blocks south of downtown, and I just feel so hip when I head that way. Sure that sounds a little pathetic, but oh well. We had a nice time and stayed for about 3.5 hours! S had a long day with work and other appointments, so the girls and I stayed with the young ones today.
I heard from our realator and she will be coming here Monday morning to assist me with tiling the firepace. I am so excited to think this will all be done before Mike gets home. Speaking of his return, today I learned that the first flights home for them all from CA will be this weekend (for the ADVON party) followed by the main body flights and then the trail wagon. So, I am expecting him home, most likely, by Wednesday. Of course, I won't know for sure until I actually hear from him, but I am excited that he'll be home a week early. So, I'll be busy this weekend finishing up painting and cleaning. Oh, The girls and I will have to get a birthday cake ready too. Mike will be the big 26 tomorrow. Ivie is starting to understand that a birthday is a fun day (at least that what Dora says), so she is a little excited that tomorrow is Daddy's birthday.
