Merry Christmas

Okay, so I haven't been as activiely posting as I thought I would, but either nothing has been going on or everything has been.
My nephew arrived Tuesday evening. He is so adorable. He looks just like my grampa. My mother says he looks like a skinny version of my brother. Lucas James was born at 10:45pm on 20 December 2005 weighing 7lbs 6oz and 19.5 inches long! I have been able to "play" with him a little the past 2 days and tonight I got to change his teeny tiny diaper and get him dressed for a family Christmas party. I know that helped Fawna and Aaron out a lot!
Ivie smiles when she sees him and attempts to touch him, although that makes me nervous. She isn't always overly gentle.
Today, Ivie and I spent a lot of time with my grandparents since they'll be headed for TX on Monday.
Ivie has learned some new words since coming to MI: "gog"(dog), "caa"(cat), "nana" and "papa"! It's so cute. She was helping my mother take care of the groceries and found the bananas. She loves bananas. She goes nuts for bananas. Notice she trying to eat them peel and all!
We have a busy week ahead of us. Family get togethers on the weekend and then we're headed to Lansing, Lake George and Spring Lake to visit with the Kirby's. I am looking forward to spending so much time with our families.
I probably won't be posting until the new year, so I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a joyful New Year!
