Uh-oh

Hi! I can title this uh-oh for a couple reasons. First, and the most exciting, Ivie said "Uh-oh" today. She was emptying the clean, folded laundry from the laundry basket and looked at me and said "uh-oh"! How exciting. It took most of the day before she'd say it for her daddy though. It really is so cute to hear her say this. She and I were running a few errands today around post and she was in her seat saying uh'oh nearly the entire time!
I can also call this uh-oh because my last post didn't post! One of these days I'm actually going to try and get this figured out. I was trying to upload a picture, again, and the computer freaked out.
Mike will be leaving in about 7 weeks, give or take a day or two. Everything is still super classified, so we're just going by what the C.O. "estimates" things to be. We attended the Casualty Notification briefing last week. Not the most uplifting meeting, but I have to admit that I am glad to know how that process works. We are trying to just take one day at a time. It is too much to handle if we don't.
Mike was promoted last Friday to E4, Specialist. I got to participate in his promotion ceremony. It was exciting for me. I am so proud of him. I am so glad that all of his hard work is recognized too. It is really a boost for Mike too.
My brother and sister-in-law are back in MI. I briefly spoke to him. They were both exhausted and need their rest. We are looking forward to seeing them when we return to MI later this month.
I am going to try and get some sleep now! Goodnight!
