Just another day...

Technically this is the second blog for 22 July, but to me, it feels like a whole new day since I last posted. I did my usual laundry, dishes, cleaning, etc. Mike passed his CLS (Combat Life Saving) exam and came home and ate and has been in bed since noon. He was up for about an hour, long enough to run to the housing self-help office to get us a 30 day watering permit. We have water restrictions of 2 hours on Tuesday and Saturday. Apparently there wasn't any rain while we were in MI, and our yard is a lovely shade of brown. With our permit, we'll be able to water 2 hours a day for 30 days! We haven't invested a great deal of time in our yard yet, but keeping it green seems like enough for us to deal with for now. Next summer, while Mike is away and Ivie is bigger, I plan on spending a great deal of time making it pretty. Ivie trully enjoys being able to roll around and check things out. I am trying to give her the oppurtunity to explore without chasing behind her saying "no, do not touch". She has discovered a pretty baby in the glass door fron of our tv stand. She has spent a great deal of time talking to and playing with the other baby today. I am going to try, again, to get a picture in this posting, but I am not making any promises. I tried 3 times earlier without any luck. My computer doesn't always cooperate with me. Hopefully it'll work. Okay, I cannot get a picture to upload. I'll keep trying on future postings.
